Ted Neward

Ted Neward is an independent consultant specializing in high-scale enterprise systems, working with clients ranging in size from Fortune 500 corporations to small 10-person shops. He is an authority in Java and .NET technologies, particularly in the areas of Java/.NET integration (both in-process and via integration tools like Web services), back-end enterprise software systems, and virtual machine/execution engine plumbing. He is the author or co-author of several books, including Effective Enterprise Java, C# In a Nutshell, SSCLI Essentials, Server-Based Java Programming, and a contributor to several technology journals. Ted is also a Microsoft MVP Architect, BEA Technical Director, INETA speaker, PluralSight instructor, frequent conference speaker, and a member of various Java JSRs. He lives in the Pacific Northwest with his wife, two sons, and eight PCs.

Geert Bevin

Geert is a developer at Terracotta Inc., is the CEO and founder of Uwyn bvba/sprl and created the RIFE project which provides a full-stack Java Web application framework for quickly building maintainable applications. He started or contributed to open-source projects like Bla-bla List, OpenLaszlo, Drone, JavaPaste, Bamboo, Elephant, RelativeLayers, and Gentoo Linux. Geert is also an official Sun Java Champion.

Emmanuel Bernard

I am an Open Source actor. Member of the Hibernate team, I am the founder, co-founder or lead of the annotations centric Hibernate projects. My favorite nowadays is Hibernate Search. I am a regular speaker at various Java events and the co-author of Hibernate Search in Action from Manning. I participate in the JCP as expert group member of Java Persistence 2 and spec lead of Bean Validation. I am speaking to various Java events around my work. JBoss is feeding me, both financially and mentally, so thank you :) Beyond work, I enjoy economy, physics, good food from all over the world, travel, wine, snowboarding, hiking, understanding the world, arguing for the pleasure of it and a few other things.

Dror Bereznitsky

Dror Bereznitsky is a senior consultant and architect at AlphaCSP. Dror has more than nine years of experience in the IT industry and has been working for AlphaCSP since 2006. Prior to joining AlphaCSP Dror held various technical lead and management positions in the Israeli high-tech industry. Dror holds a B.Sc degree in computer science from Bar-Ilan university and is currently completing his M.B.A degree. As one of AlphaCSP's senior consultants Dror manages and consults the development of large-scale Java and JEE based projects in sectors varying from the financial industry to the mobile world. Dror is an active member of the open source community leading a Java build related sourceforge project .

Frederic Simon

Frederic Simon founded AlphaCSP in 1998 as CTO and Chief Architect. His development experience goes back to 1992, and he has been a Java and JEE consultant since 1999. His Open Source activities are with Jfrog and setllarium4Java.

Yoav Landman

Yoav joined AlphaCSP in 1Q 2002 after serving in various technical lead and management positions in Israel and overseas organizations, including Versata Inc., Sausage Software, and Attunity. As one of AlphaCSP's principal consultants, Yoav manages and escorts the development of large-scale Java and JEE based production systems and plays a central role in assimilating cutting-edge open source technologies into projects.

Baruch Sadogursky

Baruch Sadogursky is AlphaCSP's Training Center Manager, and has overall responsibility for AlphaCSP training activities. Baruch is also one of AlphaCSP's consultants and architects. Baruch has more than seven years experience in Java (developing, mentoring, consulting and training), the last four of which were with AlphaCSP. He has worked with some major AlphaCSP clients in various development and consulting positions, developing and delivering most of the AlphaCSP courses.

Nadav Wiener

Nadav Wiener is a Consultant at AlphaCSP. Prior to joining AlphaCSP this year, Nadav held a succession of architectural and team leading roles in the telecom industry, working on heavy lifting portions of software machinery. Nadav has been working on Java-based enterprise systems for the past five years.

Ophir Radnitz

Ophir Radnitz is a Java Technology Consultant at AlphaCSP. He has been working with Java technologies for over six years and as an AlphaCSP consultant for the last two years . During this time, he has been exposed to a wide array of projects with very diverse sets of requirements and constraints. These projects vary from large scale deployments to start-up application tools and techniques. He specializes in domain modeling and design from the entity level to process definition and business rule execution.

Yoav Aharoni

Yoav Aharoni is a Web Consultant at AlphaCSP. Yoav joined AlphaCSP in 4Q 2006. Aside from being a Java developer, Yoav brings to AlphaCSP a vast knowledge of web technology. Continuously exploring, Yoav keeps himself updated with the newest and hottest innovations the web has to offer today.

Roi Aldaag

Roi Aldaag is a Java Architect and Consultant at AlphaCSP. Roi has eight years of Java experience as a Developer, Team Leader, Development Manager, and Consultant. Former CEO and founder of the startup company Arcode Software Solutions, Ltd., he holds a BSc degree in Computer Science and Management from Tel-Aviv University. He takes his Java black with extra sugar.

Avishay Halperen

Avishay Halperen is a Site Manger and Java Consultant at AlphaCSP. He joined AlphaCSP in 1Q 2004 and has been practicing Java ever since as a Developer, Team Leader, and Site Manager on one of the largest projects of AlphaCSP. Specializing in various JEE and J2SE frameworks and infrastructures, he is also known as "The Doctor".

Alex Waisburd

Alex Weisburd is a Consultant at AlphaCSP. Alex joined the AlphaCSP team as a Java novice to the special JTeam project in January 2001. Currently, Alex is managing a project at the National Institute for Testing and Evaluation - NITE, based in Jerusalem.

Yossi Shaul

Yossi is a Senior Developer working with Java technologies for the last five years. Yossi joined AlphaCSP in 2005 and since then has been involved in numerous projects for various small and large clients such as Viola Networks, NITE, IDI, Cisco, and others. Yossi has gained vast experience with enterprise scale applications, build technologies, software engineering, and agile methodologies. Yossi is an active committer in several open-source projects. Yossi holds a BA (Magna Cum Laude) in Computer Science from the Open University.

Eli Avzak

Eli Avzak is a Development Team Leader at AlphaCSP. He has been working with Java technologies for over five years as a Developer and a Team Leader. Eli has experience in large-scale JEE enterprise applications in the telecom industry and has participated in some of AlphaCSP's key enterprise projects. Eli holds a BSc degree in Computer Science and an MBA degree from Haifa University.

Guy Nir

Guy Nir has been a professional in research and development for approximately 20 years, focusing mainly on enterprise applications within the Java domain for the past eight years. . Since joining AlphaCSP a year ago, Guy has participated in a number of enterprise projects, ranging from service-oriented systems to back-office network management systems (NMS).

Shay Sofer

Shay Sofer is AlphaCSP's home player. Shay joined AlphaCSP in October 2006 as a part of its JTeam Java qualification process. Currently, Shay is a part of a large-scale project that consolidates Israel's major pension funds, and has gained experience in multiple technologies and methodologies. Shay holds a B.Sc degree in Computer Science from the Academic College of Tel Aviv-Jaffa.

Evgeny Borisov

Evgeny Borisov is a Software Engineer at AlphaCSP. Evgeny has been working with Java for over five years as a lecturer and a developer. Since joining AlphaCSP in 2007, Evgeny has been working with different technologies, web frameworks and application servers. Evgeny has also been involved in auditing and presenting several courses at AlphaCSP.
